A new work in development

The Welcome Curtain

Doorway art for homes with soul.

First collection in development

Part fly screen, part moving sculpture, part threshold ritual.

After searching endlessly for a beautiful fly screen for her own Welsh stone cottage, Bobbi found only poor-quality, mass-produced options that felt wrong for a home so full of history and character.

So she began designing her own.

Made with natural cord, wooden beads, beach finds, crystal, recycled objects, ceramic details, glass, found materials and carefully chosen colours, each piece is designed to move gently in the breeze, catch the light and create a sense of welcome before anyone has even stepped inside.

These are not ordinary bead curtains. They are functional artworks for doorways, porches, studios, garden rooms and cottages.

Beach finds, crystal & beads

The gathered language of the curtain

Each Welcome Curtain begins with the small things that already hold light, texture and memory.

Sea glass, shells, crystal stones, beads, discarded jewellery and found objects can be threaded into the design so the curtain feels rooted in place, not simply decorative.

These materials bring movement and sparkle, but they also carry story: beach walks, studio sorting, kept fragments and the pleasure of turning overlooked pieces into something useful and beautiful.
